3D model pieces for new theater space


One of the challenges in designing for a new theater location is the design team's not-yet-developed feel for the layout and space.


For initial discussions, we started with a 2D ground plan and some magnetic inventory pieces:


The standard tack of a set designer is to build a 3D model of their final idea and present it to the production team. Because of the newness of the space and the size of the cast, we've adapted this notion of model pieces early in the discussions.
